Reminder that Chess Club will be in Ms. Sisco’s room starting at 4:00 p.m. today. Coach Williams has been a Chess Club sponsor at five different schools. He has 30 different sets and has been a sponsor for approximately 20 years now. Chess encourages & improves critical thinking, strategizing, confidence, creativity, boosts IQ, concentration and sportsmanship.

The 3 year old program will not be in session on Friday, November 22nd.

Extended Care will be available Monday, Nov. 25th and Tuesday, Nov. 26th for our working parents from 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Parents must drop off and pick up their child. A bus route will not be available.

Fluoride Treatments will be Tuesday, November 19th. Students that have a signed consent form will receive the fluoride treatment. Parents, if you have not filled out a consent form for your child and would like for them to receive the fluoride treatment, please print and complete the attached form and return it to school. Forms are also available in the front office. BASKETBALL: 5th/6th Monday at home against Keys beginning at 4:00 p.m. There will be 4 games. 5th-8th Tuesday at home against Woodall beginning at 4:00 p.m. 3rd/4th Wednesday at Keys beginning at 9:30 a.m. 7th/8th Thursday at home against Keys beginning at 5:00 p.m.

ACADEMIC: Academic meet Monday at Tenkiller beginning at 9:30 a.m. Academic meet Tuesday against Norwood. The match is at Briggs and will begin at 9:00 a.m.

November is Native American Heritage Month. Students are always allowed to wear their traditional clothing, but every Wednesday in November we are wearing our ribbon skirts, tear dresses, ribbon shirts, vests, moccasins, etc. Please join us in celebrating Native American Heritage Month!

The 4-H club is sponsoring its annual Thanksgiving food drive. They will be accepting nonperishable food items from now until Wednesday (Nov. 20th). All food will be made into food baskets and will be distributed to families in our community.

Reminder: Covid/Flu vaccinations will be available today in the upper gym lobby from 10:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. If you did not return a signed consent form, your child will not receive a vaccination.

Native American Heritage Month *Ribbon skirts!

BASKETBALL: 5th/6th basketball Wednesday, Nov. 13th in the Keys Tournament. Girls play at 6:00 and boys at 6:45 p.m. The games will be at Keys High School. The bus will leave at 4:45 p.m. 3rd/4th basketball Wednesday, Nov. 13th at Zion beginning at 9:00 a.m. 7th/8th basketball Thursday, Nov. 14th at Keys beginning at 5:00 p.m. 3rd/4th basketball Friday, Nov. 15th at Maryetta has been cancelled.

The 5th/6th grade basketball games scheduled for tonight at Keys, will now be played in the auxiliary gym which is located at the high school. It is adjacent to the high school gym. Game times are still the same. Girls will play at 6:00 and boys will play at 6:45.

Reminder: Parents, Influenza and/or COVID-19 Vaccination Consent and Screening forms were previously sent home. The vaccination clinic is scheduled for November 14th from 10:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. in the upper gym lobby. Tribal membership is not required and vaccinations are open to the Briggs Community. If you want your child to receive one or both vaccinations, please fill out the forms and return them to school. If we do not receive a completed form, your child WILL NOT receive a vaccination.
